Part of Max's problem was he usually dressed the girls up as school girls with pigtails and tried to make them younger then 18 (even though they were 18). That added to the fact the girls were abused and degraded made it worse. The Kink girls are well aware of what they are in for and are interviewed after the fact to show they were OK with it and were safe. Not even the slightest hint that the girls are teens/kids.

Except for their own natural youthful looks of course. Some of the kink.com interviews even have the girls face-washed, even the occasional actual teens. Logic tells me that if they were trying to consciously make the girls look older, they'd have them appear as dolled-up as possible. Then again, Max usually dolled up the performers but in a deliberate lousy way, like a young girl playing with her mom's makeup. The "sin" was always in the dialogues and (in a lesser extent) the schoolgirl costumes.

Anyway, it sucks seeing him with a strap-on. Any news regarding Max Hardcore? I watched his stuff in my youth, found it quite unique, a specific type of humor in it

I was so sad seeing Max go to prison. But again, some statements from him didn't help - like that some girls quit with the porn industry after making a video with him.
Either way, I hope see him on the old path.
