Having worked in IT for 40 years, I have to add my 2 cents.
1. Keep this Forum and processing your videos on separate systems. There are bad people that would love to wipe out your data. The girls' video files should be marked "read only".
2. In the 1970's, data storage was expensive. Now it is cheap. Keep multiple copies, even if it is 400 TB. In the early days of TV broadcasting on magnetic tape, an NBC vice president decided to save money by using the magnetic tape over and over. So many iconic shows by TV and movie legends were forever lost.
3. An insurance executive told us that the No. 1 reason companies go out of business, is not fire or flood, but loss of data.
4. Use only one piece of security software. That software cruises through your system looking for a virus. If you have 2 security software packages, they both think that the other is a virus, and attack each other. Then, a real virus can sneak in. (It happened to me.)
5. A password like Xx&73Ol is hard to remember. So people write it down and it can get stolen. Use a password that is easy to remember, but nobody knows it. (Maybe your first girlfriend had a pet name for your Dick.)
6. Don't make it too easy. When hackers broke into Asaad's email account, they found that his password was 1234.
I could go on and on, but that is enough for now.
