does this 4k Version mean that I can watch it with my macbook pro Retina and still not get all the quality of the original 4 Version? do I Need to buy a better Screen than macbook pro Retina?

Yes sir !!!
Your mac book pro give you an image almost 2K we can said so you get half of the quality but not in size because the 15 inch is not even big enough for a HD image ... The 4 K ( 16/9 ) = 3840 X 2160. It's huge ...

4k is 4x the size of 1080p. Good thing is as it is 4x it scales down well for 1080p. Not worth the extra b/w thought if you don't have proper screen imo.

Of course there is the reason why I have spend money now to give you opportunity to watch the 4K in 1080p here at WCX. Looks like it makes happy lot of people ...
