I have two childrens which now are 30 and 26 years old, they are very normal, no any psycho perturbations and for sure the simple fact I never let them watch the news and violent movies has been a better way to protect them than just try to hide my business.
They have more suffering of not always understand why daddy was wearing caps and black glasses when coming at the school ! Why ? because the day the director on one of the school knew who I was, he started to ask mad things to my daughter ...
This our world which is corrupted and the first rule of parents is to use the program who can give you opportunity to control all what your children watch and not let your TV without a lock code for the program they should not see, and I don't mean just porn.
I another way it's also permitted to considered that the interpretation of what a children can see will be different in function of his mental level and skill, which means not all of our next generation could react the same if they were in Melinda situation. So she's an exception, but for instance Blue Angel who has lot of similar point about the first visual contact with porn, has a completly different personality.
So I think all this is like a corn field, if the ground is good you'll have a good culture, if the ground is bad, only shit will grow-up.
We are responsable of our childrens education but not responsable of the images rolling everywhere on earth, it's too easy to put on the back of porn producers or violent Hollywood films makers, the responsabilty of what a child has become when adult ...

Well, you can disapprove it of course , but kids under 18 will watch porn eventually. I think it is the same as in the past, when kids tried to get their hands on Playboy, Penthouse etc. magazines. Your body is full of raging hormones, you are horny and you are very curious about sex. There is not a magical border of 18 after which you can think/do only then something with sex. So I think we have to be realistic and realise that we did the same when we were that age.

Not agree. I have been able to see my first porn at 13 because I was already 1,75 m and looking 20 years old, giving me the chance to enter a sex shop.

But at my young time you have to search for porn and go in specific place where a child could not enter. Today the images of sex and violence are everywhere and even a children trying to see a carton has a chance to get a pop-up from Streamate with a girl masturbate her ass with a dildo. So it's different now and the computer have tools to block it. It's not perfect yet but at least you have some spy tools which are 100 % working and give you opportunities to see WHO are your childrens ...

Yes, you are right about that. But what i try to say is that you can block access to porn as much as possible, if kids really want to see it it's almost impossible to stop them. If not on a computer, they can watch it on their phone, tablet or if they don't have it at a friend who will have access. So unless you want to police a kid 24/7, they will eventually see it (if they are interested).

However I agree with you that for young kids, porn should be blocked as much as possible. Especially when they are doing things for e.g. school on the internet.

Of course it's obvious ...
