Now it clear why French President Hollande didn't say much when PRISM came in the news. He knew it all along while his own secret service was doing the same. Only when the news came that the Americans were bugging EU offices and diplomats, did he start making noises. It also explains why he doesn't give asylum to Edward Snowden and denied French airspace to the plane of Bolivian president Evo Morales.

It sure doesn't look like it! For the US we are treated the same like North Korea. We are prey for US snooping without any boundaries or control. I'll guess you wouldn't like it too if the EU or Russia/China was looking into your private files and storing them for decades.
The EU should finally defend it's citizens against this boundless US surveillance and punish them & to force them to obey our privacy laws!! And yes, this also applies to snooping by EU countries too (like France, UK, Germany)
