I'm interested to know, has this tactic always existed in the porn industry or is it something that has developed with the rise of the internet?

It wasn't so bad in the past. There was more production, everybody was more or less doing good business and there was a real star system with less danger to see your family or friends to know what you was making in secret !!!
Today internet has destroyed all that ... For girls like Viola who don't care the morons and their bad kicks it's fine but all girls who want have two lifes it's nightmare and they run away from the industry very fast ...

My 2 cents... Many producers hate each other... There are different reasons.... However, the main one is.. GIRLS....

There are some stories about producers who got mad at other because a company stole their girl, or fuck the first.

Some producers also need to raise their Ego saying they fuck this and that and get mad when they can't.

Viola will -99.99%- shoot for LegalP.... but if she ever does... those guys would literally destroy every of her hole worse than they have to other girls because she fucked for PW before going to them...

There is also bad competition....spoiling the other's videos, trash talking about other producer and creating stories that get to some models head so they are afraid to shoot with another producer.

There might be more stories, but those are the typical ones.
