Some men are real brutal person and some men could have a bad reaction for a minute without been neccessary a monster.
Love is often subject to passionate reaction with sometime violence without deeply it was wished to be like that ... reason why in court there are difference when for instance a jealous husband kill his wife if he found her in a bed with somebody or if he kill her after he prepare all for weeks or month.
