This is kinda weird but when it comes to you Pierre, i am the most diverge person. On one side i do like what you do in porn, the content (exept a minor thing i will list later) but on the other side, there some things im like "duuuuuude..." and its hard to believe you are serious.

The first thing is that anti-piracy crusade. I do get why any porn producer would hate piracy. But the way you handle and say things is so weird. First of all XV and PH are NOT piracy. There tube sites. If you don't want your content there you can surely issue a DMCA take down. But i don't understand why you don't have realize yet there fantastic marketing tools. Put a 8 minute version of a 30 min movie there, show just enough to make people want to buy the stuff. Are you really serious? Even if tomorow anti-piracy laws would be put in place, first they would had to be unified by all countries, secondly i really don't think it would be retro-active. I am sure there is not much peoples in the world that never downloaded something for free. I try to encourage compagnies i like, i really do. I have over 500 movies at home(non-porn) most of them on DVD and the newer ones on blu ray. (Some old ones on VHS lol) I have a bunch of CDs as well for music. But yes sometimes i download movies. Sometimes out of pure convenience because im lazy to get my ass up and go to the video store, simple as that. Yes there still a thing here... But my local video store know i give them good business. I rent movies, i buy my xbox live cards there, i buy movies when they have some on sales, video games too, i don't think they care much if one night they may have lost 3$ because i was lazy to go to the store.

And you can be sure of one thing, if i love a movie, ill go buy the DVD/blu ray NEW. Boyka Indisputed was a movie i was waiting for so much, and it came out online "illegaly" 2 months and a half before the DVD did where i live. Yes i downloaded it cause i couldn't wait. But i love this franchise, there a small production compagny, and i want to support them so of course i bough it when it came out. I pay my Netflix subs but i like to watch my series in FRENCH, so most of the time i download the episodes even if there on netflix cause it does not have the french track. Does it make me bad?

Same for music, i use youtube to discover artist, i rip the music out of it because its easier for me to listen "offline" , but when i realize i love a bunch of song of an artist i do buy the CDs. I go to show of my favorite bands when they come here.

With porn its a little different as everything is so much "consumable" and then you move on. Also pricing vary so much from one website to another. I think a 129.99$ for a year membership is pretty decent, but i find it hard to justify paying 25-30$ a scene or 70$ a month fee, no matter how much i may enjoy the content. Gotta be really picky "a la carte" or get a monthly membership and download all i can then cancel off.

For instance i find it regrettable there is no decent trailer for casting (hard). Pornhub and co are like youtube, everybody can upload whatever they want, when there is a copyright infringement, they have to manually review the video to take it down, so it take time and then the next guy can re-upload it right away under a different name or whatever. If your whole library was on it, then yes i would be pissed off as well in your shoes, but honestly there is so few of your content there, you shouldn't be worried about it, rather see it as free publicity.

Yesterday i stumbled across a scene i really liked on pornhub, it was a short incomplete version, but it was nice, but i was thinking damn i like the concept and i want to see that scene in full, i had no idea that website existed. You look at those sites as a direct salestool where you might look at it as an marketingtool for indirect sales. This is matter of which road you choose so there no right or wrong for me there.

I did see a quote where you said that your ambition is to make the number of members from early 2016 again. Personally I think yor crusade against piracy is hurting your number of members instead of helping it. The long waiting time for scenes to be complete, the hostile attitude on the forum towards anyone with any form of criticism, cutting every casting in multiple parts; it's all devaluating your own site where pirates just keep doing what they always do; share content.

Don't get me wrong; I'm a big fan of your work and I have the opinion that quality shoud be paid for. That's the reason I am a member, because off the simple reason that this cashflow enables you to keep doing what you do. On the other hand, even I paused my membership last year for a couple of months because the measures you took against piracy annoyed me as a paying member. Therefore, if your ambition really is to increase your number of members again, my suggestion would be to keep on focussing on your own quality as you always did, instead of letting your members be the victim of your crusade against piracy.

Let me end by saying this is all just a well meant advise. As you know the annoyance was not enough to keep me away from this site so maybe you are right afterall. I just don´t know if this is the case with all members that cancelled there subscription.
