To be honest: I believe in leaving when things are still OK, makes for good memories. You see how fast things can change currently ; especially everything SEX related........ Like gambling, good to stop as long as you are still in profit...

I may disagree there, as long as the site makes money and he has great sex coming along with it, why should he stop?

Another question of course is the update-strategy. Franky, I know Pierre is convinced he is able to fight piracy with it, but I don't see that at all. The moment he puts updates life, those can be found on the pirates sites too, so he does not solve the problem, he just delays it. And that for a high price: Members who are frustrated because they wait for years for their updates, needless discussions in the forum etc.
Making a promise and deliver on it has ever been the best way to make a business with a sustainable profit.
Pierre's product is great. The delivery model deserves an update though.

Once again, delaying a vidéo file for 10 weeks, 25 months , or 150 years, puting GPS tracking into it, minority report technology into the encoding process, vaudoo stuff or interpol report into it, it will not STOP someone who know what he's doing, to break any security and pirate the file for uploading profit on internet !

But delaying video is also a way to say "i have a lot of stock, that can make profit " so a potential investor who will see this and put 20M euros on the table, will buy all the stuff.

Exactly! This update strategy is bullshit because it doesn't solve anything except delay the problem. It's not going to stop pirates. Now or in 50 years when the video is released they will still continue. It only frustrates the members, not the hackers. This strategy is more a personal vendetta between Pierre and the pirates. But does it solve anything? No... Especially when there is a new girl and all the hype is on her. When she retires, who is going to care about her release when she is long gone? The euphoria and excitement for that girl is expired. I think Pierre is more for himself than the actual members but offcourse it's his site he choose how to run it.

Gentlemen, as a long-time member of WCX I must say, stop expecting and demanding all the time new things from Pierre.

He has his own strategy and philosophy. Both gave him a big success and he is independant from everything, he doesn`t have to kiss any smelly asses from investors or members.

But what is killing energy is when you are critizised hundred times because of the same things.

So I really ask you to be happy and lucky with the content he gives us, also with sometimes bigger delay, look at the alternative that this site is closed because we need Pierre, but he doesn`t need us.

Nothing is for eternity but I hope that Pierre will continue his unique work as long as possible and we should be thankful for this.

Well, yes he has his success, after the demise of Private he had a second spring by completely changing his business model and opening up this site. The content he delivers here is unique and he earned all the success he has.

But I would be careful with your last sentence. It is not about kissing the ass of members (although there are definitely some you try to kiss his ) Pierre had his successes because with WCX he had the right product that was accepted by the customers (yes I avoid the name "members" here). But to keep this success he does not have to deliver great content, he also has to have good antennas for the demand and how the way he delivers his content is accepted. Pierre has argued in the past that here and there were some years recently with which he was not satisfied concerning the numbers of paying subscribers.
The hardcore fans you will accept anything are not enough to pay his bills. He also has to win new members (thats done by great content) and keep them, otherwise they unsubscribe (thats done by delivering).
And since the update model is a constant source of debate, maybe it would be a good idea to rethink that.

I wonder why there has to be this consequence. Why are members who openly give feedback (in business thats exately what you want to be able to react and improve your business model) something bad??
I see this as an active, engaged community.
Enterprises spend huge sums each year for experience management and getting the information how their customers feel and think. And this forum provides this ... for free!!
Do you know what would be the worst case? Indifferent members.

So I think this feedback should be positively embraced instead of "threatened to be quit". That's definitely no entrepreneur attitude.

If I remember correctly Pierre mentioned some time ago that this website is not paying his food, it is more like a pofitable "hobby". So Pierre is not to interested to make a loss here, and on the other hand not too much worried if he is not making a "maximum" return here.

Will see how this plays out.....I for sure keep reminding Pierre about the Nicoline update until he officially cancels it
