Warning
This was in the news today. A group of hackers stole approximately 1 billion, 200 million user-ids and passwords. I would suggest that your subscribers change their passwords.

Re: Warning
That is a good question. It was a crime ring in Russia. A company in the US that specializes in finding hackers discovered the theft. The unnamed crime ring stole from 500 thousand web sites big and small. Think about the web site that your bank has. Do you do online banking? They stole 500 million email addresses and passwords. They did not just target id's in the US. They stole id's from all over the world.
Re: Warning
Guys, relax. Look at the numbers. If they stole so many (and it's yet to be proven they stole any at all) then the chances of your account being the next one they choose to use or misuse is 1,200,000,000 to 1.
The odds are likely better than that for someone to randomly guess your password.

I disagree. I just looked up some statistics. Of the 7 billion people in the world, 2.4 billion use the internet. So they stole 1.2 billion userid's. That is half. They also stole their passwords. No guessing needed.

Just thought i'd point out that is not 1,2 billion unique IDs, i'm pretty certain you have registered at more than website in your entire life.
How many of those IDs are duplicates/belong to the same person, i do not know, but i'm quite certain its significantly lower than 1,2 billion unique persons
