I am surprised that someone in Europe would use the term "cracker". That is a racist word used by African Americans in America to describe white people. It is telling me that as a European, he has poor language skills.( speaking about you too Cracker )

Maybe because for Europeans a "crackers" is a baked food typically made from flour that we call in France "biscuit".

It is interesting how words have different meanings in different countries. In America we eat crackers all the time. Saltine and Ritz crackers are eaten by the millions. They are very thin and salty. Biscuits are thicker, but like crackers are dry and crunchy.
