Didn't think you'd go for one to be honest. Apple stuff is tremendous hardware but you can only install what iTunes let's you have. They have refused perfectly good software for all kinds of dodgy reasons including MORALS!

My phone is MY computer and NO ONE will tell me what software I can and cannot install on it. Certainly not some dead guy.

Yes but in these days anyway it's more or less the same with all new technologies and I understand Apple trying to protect themself. I do the same in a certain way and make many people angry but it's just because of the competitors and the war around us !!!
I suppose the "dead man" ( RIP steve ) wanted the same ...

iPhone have closed eco-system and most serious people like Pierre appreciate that because when you are in big business, security of your apps/data is on first place.

the protection of Apple was no so good for the Hollywood stars whose naked Pictures have been hacked

i only use macbook pro because in my profession its quasi standard...but in general I think apple is a much overpriced lifestyle product.
