I don't understand why Messi want to continue in the PSG, he already prooved everything, winned all what he wanted in football achievement, in Fifa, ect, he's above everyone else in term of trophy, on financial side, even with 3 children and a wife, he's billionaries and Can still do placement, pub/sponsor insta strong incomes, so i don't understand.... He should leave now, the new génération is here, in my opinion

It's normal that he wants to continue playing club football at a team that is supposed to compete for the Champions League, if he loves playing and he likes to compete as well.

OTOH, he should retire from international football right where he is now: at the top.

I see what you mean, but also it's not a secret that Messi is truly himself and totaly "happy", in a team where all the system is build around him, and where he is the true captain, like in Barca, or in Argentina team, his ultimate goal was the World Cup, he got it now , + 7 gold ballons, at 35 years old, sounds like enough for me, for the Messi era

We always wish the best exit for our favorite players but it's up to them eventually. Messi is paid insane money, he has a chance to compete for more Champion's League, I see no reason for him to end his career now. Who knows, maybe he'll be there in 2026 for a repeat of his world title ?!

For me, it's not necessary him who need insane money, but his family, he could live easely 10 lifes, for himself, without working, with his personal fortune, but, for me, the only reason he's still on the ground, at 35, after all his palmarès, comes from his family, in my opinion

I am so sad !!!
This man was not only a football star but an amazing person !!!
In November 2002 I was at the George V hotel in Paris with Larry Flynt and while I went out I see Pelé coming out from a limousine front of the Prince de Galles entrance ( other hotel 50 m from George V ) at same time I was walking to join the parking !
I could not resist to tell him my admiration for him and his career. We started speak in the street and then he asked me if I had already eaten. I told no and he invited me to share a lunch with him.
I could not believe this man was so nice and humble.
We passed 2 hours together I never forget in my life.
We exchanged our number but never him or me contacted back the other …
Only few happy new year for a period and then I forgot to make it.
Today I feel sad he left this world.
For sure his soul his in the good place and he will stay in peace !!!
