Why ???
Because if you think a little bit it's obvious and particulary in China no one hotel will accept such possibility of scandal.
Imagine you go to Hyatt hotel in Beijin or Shanghai ( I was in both ) and then one day you have some videos on the net with couple fucking in a room of the hotel being filmed without they know it !!!
Sorry but it's impossible because first of all they will need to install a camera in the room that I doubt the cleaning service will not see or the people hosted will not see too ...
Then if we can imagine they succeed to hide one camera in the room and they do a video or more, for how long time this camera will stay there ??? then investigation will find out WHO did this easily because there is NO WHERE YOU CAN GO IN A BIG CHINESE CITY WITHOUT BEEN TRACKED !!! Which wifi will you use ??? The hotel one ??? OK then next day they will ring at your door because clearly they will find out from where was coming the hacking etc ...
As often with medias it's important be careful about what they pretend. How do you want big brand name hotels could let this happen and maybe in some shit countries it's possible but for sure not in China.
I was in China and I can tell you yes they can bring you beautiful fake Rolex absolutely perfect to your bedroom, this is not a problem, even a beautiful escort it's possible but instalation of a camera in your bedroom, only the government can do it and be sure it will never be for porn websites use !!!
