Hi all,

It has been a while since I've reach an upgrade to my rank as a member of the site.

I wanted to ask what is the correct procedure to properly upgrade your membership to the new rank.

Do you just click on the "upgrade now" button? The button takes me to a "join" page though with my new rank/monthly payment. If I do it this way, will it wait until the current paid time ends and then process at the new rank or will it process it at that time?

Do I need to unsubscribe and then reactivate/renew my subscription closer to or on the date of the already paid time?

I'm asking as I vaguely remember trying to upgrade last time and I ended up making 2 membership payments for 1 month (it was resolved and I got credits which I used on presales). I just want to avoid this confusion.

From my modest experience, you have to join the new rank once you've reached a higher rank for the corresponding discounts to begin applying.
You don't need to unsubscribe or reactivate your subscription; when you click "Join," the system will automatically update your level, and you will be charged the new fee within a week. My advice is to make this change the week before you are charged for the membership fee so you don't have to be charged twice that month.
When I upgraded my rank last time, I also ended up making two membership payments for one month (the 4th and 11th of the same month), and unlike you, I didn't realize it, so I didn't get any credits.
