europe and japan are main adult movies' areas in the world, and they have different styles. so a very common problem is, why they dont cooperate with each other, produce some "international co productions" like in mainstream film industry?

this won't make money or the european and japanese producers just dont want?

There are Japanese companies who come to Europe and USA to shoot films. Other way around not so much, probably because Japan is too expensive.

i dont only mean shooting in japan. but this is really the reason?

I was the first European to shoot in Japan. I went there with European performers and did some castings and scenes which are on the site. Crazy expensive, crazy complicate and only lies around every situations has convinced me that there was no interest to do it more than twice !!!
I love Japan, I love the food, the culture, the history but after practice the "people mentality" I found out it's very different than everyone think. The second war has changed a bit the general psychological spirit of them but anyway they are facing you all time with a smile but deeply you don't exist for them.
I did a deal with a distribution japanese company in 2006. We started begining of 2007 and at the end of the year after NEVER PAID ANYTHING they was asking WHY WE STOPPED TO GIVE THEM OUR PRODUCTS !!! This is the way they are and also I think the most racist people on earth. We I was there they always told me : " a girl who fuck with a white man is half dirty but with a black man she dirty for ever " !!!
Joachim Kessef had to go back in europe, no one girl agreed to have sex with him in Tokyo. All the business is controled by the mafia there and you can't do anything even pull the hair of a girl without pass 3 phones call to ask if it's possible and how much more it cost. It's a shame because Japanese chicks can be hot. The country still censors all porn by pixelating out all penetration. It's pretty crazy a country that sells used panties out of vending machines has such a weird double standard when it comes to pornography. If they make you pixelate stuff, I can only imagine how hard filming there would be.
