hi, Mr. pierre
my english is not good, i hope I have made the question clear.
i am very interested in what formats and cameras productions you and other porno company(like marc dorcel) used in 1990s, like what original shot format and what kind of camera, for example, in your 1996 Private Gold Pyramid and 1999 Private Gold Tatiana, Private Film Golden Triangle, Private Film Tower...
Yours Private Film series are really originally shot on film?
and what formats of Private Gold series and Private Movies series...
and what about marc dorcel use in 1990s? (though i haven't heared you have been shooting for Marc Dorcel.)
and if your productions' orginal materials in 1990s have enough definition to be released on blueray, or Interlaced DVD are their ultimate form? do you know if Private would like to restore some 1990s classic like Pyramid and Tatiana...?
you are a professional in this industry, can you give some specific introduction? thanks!

So much questions !!!
Marc Dorcel always used betacam format until the years 2006, and they started small productions in HDV or HD for the bigger ones. Now they just started the 4K
When I started to do movies in 1993 with Private, I used Betacam format but when Police arrest us in Egypt in 1996, they sent back home my operator with the camera Betacam Sony WSR 700, so I had no choice, I started to use the behind the scene camera, a DV format Sony VX 1000, and shot myself the movie ...
So from this minute until end of 2000 I did all productions with Private in DV format. Same with Hustler until 2004. But when arrived the HD in 2005 the Private boss, Berth Milton, asked me if I could do something "spectacular" again. So I did "Sex City" and I was the first porn director to shot in HDV format.
And this year I have been the first European porn director to use 4K ...

Thank you for that information. It explains why your re-releases of the early castings have much better definition than the original VHS tapes that I bought.

I never give my copyright to ANYONE and my name is a Trade Mark. I hope it's clear enough. If you see the beginning of all my first movies with Private it's written Written, directed and produced by Pierre Woodman. if it was not like that, do you think they will have sale the movies without take it off ???
Not even a single photo was given with copyright to anyone in my entire life !!!
Now about the video on the site, you just need to download the full quality version and you'll see some are with PAL format and some other with HD format.
