Sex in Cinema

Pornographic movies have been made ever since the first year of the invention of the movie projector in the 19th Century. They hired prostitutes to act in the film. But they were underground films, and illegal. It wasn't until 1967, when Sweden relaxed their obscenity laws that some soft-core films could be made. One of the first Swedish films was the movie "Inga". It was directed by Joe Sarno. Joe earned a reputation for making sexplotation movies, that showed enough skin to draw a large male crowd to the theater. The star was Marie Liljedahl. She started in the theater as a ballerina at aged 12. She had a bit part in a movie and attracted the attention of Sarno. He hired her for a minor role in the movie, but changed her role to that of the star after realizing her acting talent and beauty. Her acting and facial expressions as a girl who still loves toys, and is afraid of her carnal feelings is perfect. The movie was mostly drama with very little sex. Her nude scenes were blurred by steam in the shower. The sex scene of her was with a body double. It was because she was only 17 when the film was shot.
Two years later Sarno made a sequel - "The Seduction of Inga", with Marie again. At age 19, she still has that beautiful face and body, but her love making skills on camera show that she had an expert teacher in those two years from 17 to 19. She quit the business at age 21. During a later interview, she hinted that the reason she quit was because of what happened to her in the years between her 2 "Inga" movies. What happened, was a movie that she made with director Jesse Franco. Franco has a world wide reputation of making the dirtiest sleaziest gross-out mainstream movies on the planet. But he is an excellent director. He tells a story well, has beautiful scenery, and has a knack for getting very beautiful women in all of his movies. This movie was titled: "Eugenie". The writing credits are Jesse Franco and The Marque De Sade.
18 year old Marie gets raped, bound in chains, whipped and has lesbian sex. (It is like when Pierre is being "rude").
The person reading the book that The Marque wrote is played by Christopher Lee, probably the most famous English horror film actor. He is perfect for the roll. It is sad that she did not go on to make more films. She has the talent and beauty.
I hope you don't mind the short History lesson. If any of you show interest, I could post more stories about the early days of sex in the cinema.
There is a scene in the movie where the teenagers are all dancing. The musical score is a very catchy tune. It was written by 2 men who would join 2 women to form the group ABBA.
