Hi Pierre,
wouldn't it be possible to put the videos declared as ".mp4" really in that format and not as ".mov" file on the site?
I have again some problems with the playing of these vids and it sucks a little bit, if I download those big files in an hour or two and seeing then, that they don't work on my bd-player (like most of your other stuff) without time-consuming convert them to another format.
would be nice, if you could solve that little problem at least with your next updates.
thanks & best wishes
tom

You just need to change the . mov in .mp4 because they are in H264 !

doesn't work by only re-naming it, appears still as "MOV-File", is there a special tool for that?

Just select the H264 version to download, honey!

He did that already...
@Tom1971
If you use windows, YAMB can transfer the streams from mov to a mp4 container file without reencoding...

thank you very much, that was a good one, works fine now and took only a few minutes
I have still another little problem, maybe someone has a good idea or solution for that too:
some older videos (for example abbie cats dp or the casting session of lou charmelle) have in the mp4 version soundtracks in the PCM format (instead of the other ones with "AAC LC"), which I can not playback on my player, is there a tool for only changing/converting the audio tracks? besides of that, the vids work fine...

I suggest
http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tvmw5.html.
- Import the original file, convert to mp4 with AAC Audio, export only the audio part
- Again YAMB: Import the original file and the audio-ony part, uncheck the pcm audio -> export to a new mp4 with the untouched video and aac audio
There is a demo version available...
