So, what is interesting here is that in Woodman's philosophy, you don't choose to be strong out of nowhere. Choosing to be strong is forced on you by the circonstances of you life. What's effective is that it gives him an edge over the others because in his head it's a choice he made when he was a kid and he has built his life upon it. For most people, one's own identity is nor clearly defined... and complex... and ever changing... Woodman is capable of believing in his own myth. And that's is probably what actually makes him strong... Good for him

Now, as much as the first part of the proposition is interesting, you'll note the causality link that follows makes no sense. "Having only the choice of being strong gives you the real strength" has the consequence that "only the strongest survive" ? Hmmm ? No logic here...

Like the guy says: "Only the Strong Survive: Tell that to the dinosaurs !". Of course, you can argue ad aeternam on what is behind the word "strong". Stuff like adaptability, collective intelligence, etc... don't they fit in the general term "strong" ?

Anyway, I think Mr Woodman should get rid of the second part of his signature. But of course that's just my opinion

I thought that after having so much "peeled" my psychological aspect, you could have understood that for me the term "STRONG" is not based only on direct force like with muscles but on all forms of physical and mental efforts which lets you get over it !
And whatever you may say, there is no place for the weak one in this jungle where we live ... and only the strongest survive !

ps : but I agree on one point, it's true the fact I trust in myself since I'm a child makes me very confident and keep me out of most of the commons humans psychologicals troubles they usualy have !!!

It has not yet realized the true strength lies in the mind not in the physical, just convince yourself that you will do anything, 9 times out of 10 there is the will.

Je sais que la citation de Pierre Woodman, fait surtout référence à moi car je suis son obsession sur le forum, et comme il sait que j'ai un tout petit peu d'égo, qu'il trouve tout à fait justifié d'ailleurs car ayant conscience de mes talents, il tient absolument à me faire passer un petit message !

Il veut me faire comprendre à travers celui ci ci qu'on est probablement jamais assez fort et qu'il faut toujours faire le nécessaire pour l’être vraiment vraiment et survivre dans ce monde de brutes.

Et bien moi Globox, j'ai tout à fait conscience de la puissance de mon être, certes, je suis un peu excessif dans mes propos surtout quand je parle avec passion de ma personne, mais j'ai la conviction d'avoir atteint un niveau qui me permet de survivre dans cette société pourrie avec une aisance déconcertante, par exemple qui peut se targuer de reconnaitre les filles par leurs simples trous du cul ? Y en a pas 2 dans le monde, il n'y a que moi et personne d'autre, je suis unique !

Bon voila, c'est ainsi que je terminerais en soumettant l'idée que cette citation n'a pas lieu d’être car j'ai largement dépassé le stade idéologique de celle ci, en effet, le monde que je me suis construit est un monde fascinant dont seuls les puissants peuvent comprendre tout son sens, sa teneur et ses merveilles et rien que pour cela, je dis chapeau l'artiste !

I do think that everybody has a talent and abilities but not everybody has concisousness about this, in my case, i know perfectly who i am, i'm not an arrogant or a pretentious guy, i'm just a little bit boastfull but that's a part of my character !

Coming from a girl... I detest the french language. I do not find it sexual... I find it as a sign of weakness. I am sure many will disagree with me on this. However just as many will agree they prefer to hear English in an accent to hearing French. Just my opinion.
