Interesting article. However, I think it is only related to US society, a very conservative, sexually repressed society. It is a classic argument of American media to blame video games, internet, movies, porn for everything wrong in our lives.
It makes you believe that only men desire anal sex because they always had this deep desire but they repressed it and now thanks to porn it is mainstream, so they feel they have the right to demand it from their partners and their partners have to agree to please them, even if they do not want. As if people do what they see (as monkeys) and they have no will. I watch WCX but I am not interested on pissing anyone and I know many girls who regularly watch porn on the net and do not plan on doing double anal or even vanilla anal. Hence, I have to disagree with this.

It is mostly in American media where I read how painful and uncomfortable is anal sex and how demeaning is for women and women only do it because they are afraid of losing their boyfriends. When I read German media women talk about how pleasurable is this practice and how it has become a "basic" in their love life.

Take another example, they say that women shave down there because of porn. Allegedly, men watched it on an adult film and now they demand it from their partners and I think this is completely false! Women do it because they see other shaved women at the gym or locker rooms of the public pool and when you ask them why they do that, they say it is more hygienic and looks nicer. Go and tell a woman to stay unshaved and many times it is almost impossible! They will not agree.

Yes, and she immediatly complied when asked to have anal sex during a one night stand. I think it's a BS article trying to blame everything on men, while at the same time secretly enjoying all what sex can offer.

I think unfortunatly it is the truth ! The young generation has developped a libido from what they have seen in porn industry !
The anal has always existed but 2000 years ago it was used as a contraception, but if you look porn film in black and white from old time, or japanese film until 2005 you never see anal sex because nobody care.
Today the japanese do anal in every film, the deviation like piss or shit is also became very " fashion" in many productions, because the world has changed ... and it's true also that in the 70 s the shaved pussy was rare but today every girl is like that !
Why ? because of the soft and porn image...
