How are you, Craving? How's everything in Austria?

I also can't wait to see "Avatar"!! My best friend is the projectionist at our local theatre and he's arranged a special screening for me and a few of our friends on Friday morning at 12:01 AM. I'm very excited for that...

BTW, I saw "Invictus" yesterday afternoon. Great movie! Eastwood has turned out to be one incredible director! He's almost 80 years old and he's still putting out a great movie every year.

Pierre, are you a fan of Clint Eastwood? Have you ever met him?

Best regards to everyone on the forum!
The Canadian.

He's in my top five and some days the number one for me. I had the chance to met him last year in Cannes and to see the full uncut version of the "exchange". It was the second time I met him, first was in Paris in 1989. He's very tall and impressive but very relax. I think it's a scandal he did not won last year in Cannes, all other films was just shit in front of what he did with Angelina Jolie !

dear canadian,

i'm fine! thx for asking!
how are you in canada?
do you have already cold cold winter?
from which part do you exactly come from?

i will see AVATAR on monday :P
and i will report for you, guys! :P
(if you want me to) ;)

to be honest,
i'm excited, too! :P

i'm happy,
to hear, that DIRTY HARRY made another great movie! :)
i'm a big fan, too! ;)
this guy is really unbelievable:
every year a masterpiece!
and in 2008 even two great movies,
but, pierre, to be honest:
in my opinion GRAN TORINO was better than CHANGELING!
did you see GRAN TORINO, too?
my favorite EASTWOOD-movies are:
GRAN TORINO, LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA, MILLION DOLLAR BABY,
MYSTIC RIVER (SEAN PENN at his best), THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY,
A PERFECT WORLD, and of course UNFORGIVEN !!!

best regards,

craving

p.s.: youdaman, did you see UP IN THE AIR?
if yes, what do you think about it?

I live in the province of Saskatchewan, Craving, and we've had a very cold winter so far! Today, with the windchill, it's -47 degrees celsius! The girls are so bundled up around here, they're wearing three layers of clothing, it fuckin' sucks, buddy!

Monday??? You lucky basterd! Does it open earlier in Austria or are you getting a special screening? Anyway, feel free to give us your review!

BTW, my favorite Clint Eastwood movies (in no particular order): "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "High Plains Drifter", "Play Misty for Me", "Dirty Harry", "Pale Rider", "Escape From Alcatraz", "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot", "A Perfect World"--very underrated film, "Million Dollar Baby", "Unforgiven"--shot in Alberta, Canada, "The Changeling"-- highly underrated film, "Gran Torino" and so on. Actually, ther aren't too many Eastwood movies that I don't like. He's just such a cool, likeable guy, just like Pierre!

Is it good??? I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait! Jason Rietman is the best filmmaker to come out of Canada in years! "Thank You for Smoking" and "Juno" were both great films and I'm really looking forward to "Up in the Air". I wonder if this is a film that would interest PW? Seeing how he probably spends more time in a plane than he does a car...

Here's a few other movies that I've seen lately that I thought were good: "Brothers", a remake of the amazing Danish film "Brodre", "Bronson", "Precious", "A Serious Man", 'The Informant" and "Zombieland".

As you can see, I love talking movies... But if anyone's wondering, I still have my priorities straight, I'll take a fine piece of ass over a great movie any day of the week!!!

Take it easy, Craving!
Always nice talking to another movie and pussy fan!
The Canadian.

Never seen a film like that in my all life ! The trailer is far away under the real level of what did James Cameron !
This mixte between Terminator and Star War put Georges Lucas at year light from it. It's a monumental work !!!
