i dont belive there isnt any female porn directors..i guess they are very rare only.so how many female porn directors has meet his time creating new porn?

My first meeting with a female porn director was in New York in 1991 and it was Candida Royalle.
After that, later in 1996, in Private, the boss Berth Milton had the "great idea" ( one more on the list LOL ) to replace Peter Backman by a women as director of the video.
As Peter she had no any power on me and it was a chance because from the moment she started to the moment she left, the sales fell down a lot ...
At begining of the 2000s we have had Ovidie in France working for various label.
Today we have Juliana Grandi who is working for Vixen and Blacked.
Kayden Kross is also starting new lines for Tushy.
I know all of them well !!! I haven't seen yet what does Kayden but must said Juliana does a great job because she is able to think more like a man than a women. It's what often miss to the female director and history has showed all movies made by women "for women" have been a disaster in term of marketing.

Pour moi entre un réalisateur homme ou femme il n'y pas de réelle différence.
Un film réalisée par une femme peut être bien plus hard qu'un film réalisé par un homme.
Comme pour les livres ou des films on peut ne pas se rendre compte si le créateur est une femme ou un homme.

Une grande amie depuis 27 années maintenant. Oui je l'avais oublié et c'est bien de la mentionner. C'est une fille assez unique qui mériterait plus de reconnaissance à mon avis.
Comme pour les livres ou des films on peut ne pas se rendre compte si le créateur est une femme ou un homme.
C'est compliqué mais si on a affaire à une femme qui est vraiment féminine, sa manière de filmer va transparaitre. Si on a affaire à une femme plutôt masculine sur le fond, là oui je dois admettre que c'est difficile de faire la difference.
Il y a un troisieme schema, comme par exemple celui qu'on a actuellement avec Juliana Grandi qui tourne avec des régles imposées par son producteur, ce qui sur le fond la ramène au rang d'executrice de taches plus que de réalisatrice. Elle ne tourne pas avec un esprit 100 % libre, sinon je pense que ses films seraient forcement different ...

I don't know many female directors. Jill Kelly is probably the only one I could remember, but she is performer as well. As suppose any female out there (contrary to men). Also I heard for Gail Palmer who did 1976's Hot Summer in the City, probably her own fantasy being raped by black men.
Was Candid Royalle the one that criticized cum shots in pornos, her making videos for women (who in all honesty are in huge minority of porn consumers).

I think Juliana is probably the best female director in porn now. Someone said here that alot of female directors only make female friendly porn. Julia thinks like a man and you can tell she knows what every man wants. Her career in porn must of helped her become such a good director too. I recently saw a scene for Tushy that Juliana directed, I cant remember the actress name but she took such a hard intense ass fucking. The camera angles and closeups of the girl getting fucked in the ass with her legs pulled back was incredible. You would think only a male director could make such a raunchy scene like that but she knows the audience want to see the girl get fucked hard and see the gape. The exotic locations and scenery is a bonus. Another good director is Liselle Bailey for Marc Dorcel. She directs some quality porn also

Nothing to do with the fact I am in cold relation with Juliana since last december, I respect her job that she does her best she can for sure as she is a hard and serious worker, but in my opinion she is at years light from the work made by Kayden Kross and the label Deeper. All is a question of taste of course but I think Kendall is a real film director able to shoot a mainstream film without problems ... Julia has learned fast but for various reason I don't think she could do 1/10 of the work made by Kayden.
Cinema or photography it's not something you just learn to do. You must have it inside your blood ...
