Hey Excellence Woodman,

Under your experience in french police, as you were a policeman; did you ever saw any event of corruption or abuse?

I say this cause nowadays in all the world, and specially in my country where it was supposed that we have a very unbreakable($) security force, it was recently published a HUGE case of police corruption... and "mysteriously" is a tendency around the world by this times... the corruption and the abuse from the people who are intended to protect us.

Opinions?

In France it's difficult to corrupt a simple cops they are too affraid it can be recorded or told.
But politics and high police or prefet, city mayor etc ... these people yes of course they can be corrupt sometime like all over the world !!!
It was always like that and it will probably always be like that, it's part of this bad game of the life ...

But in true who is the worst ? the policeman who take 20 euros in Russia and let you go or the government in France who put radar everywhere and suck the blood of the people for 1 km/h extra speed ?
Honnestly I prefer sometime the corrupt mind that see the dirigeant fucking their people with a smile on the face !!!

But during your police career did you saw any "mysterious" or directly corrupt behaviour from your superiors or your mates?

Never ...
Only few times I saw some mistakes made by my superiors, a girl obviously killed but because of a sunday morning it became something else, and also once arresting a guy when myself I was going to the terrace of a cafe where various people told me the guy did not move from his table for last hour.
But never seen the people playing with money, like in film "the ripoux" ... even if even myself I have had to face this kind of accusations !!!

I live in a small town of only 5000 people. One day, the local newspaper reported that a brothel had been raided in town by the county sheriff's department. That same day, the city's chief of police resigned. Now in New York City with 7 million people, it is not too hard to "hide" a whorehouse in a sea of buildings. But in a small town like mine, either some one was being paid off, or they just didn't care. There was no TV coverage. The paper did not investigate, so there were no details, and the story disappeared.

A fun movie to watch about a crooked sheriff and sex crazed teenage boys is "Porky's".
