I have been in various bad situation on sea, on air, on mountains but luckily never in earthquake or real hurricane and it's better like that.
In 1999 we had the most powerful storm ever in France and I was on the road at 140 miles/hours when I saw a tree flying over the freeway front of my car.
That was one of my worst experiences I think because lot of stones and object was banging my car too.
But I can't imagine what it must be to have a wind blowing over 200 miles per hours like in St Martin and St Barthelemy ...

Hurricans blow fast winds.
And I am sure Pierre has been blown a lot in his life.

A friend of mine told me that he had a "Hurricane Party" when Irma came to town. He had shutters over the windows, 20 gallons of gas for the generator and plenty of beer in the refrigerator.

Personally, I had a bad scare, while riding in an airplane when one of the two engines failed. We landed safely, but the "pucker factor" was way up.

Pucker factor is when your ass hole clamps shut so tightly that nothing can get in or out.
