Pierre,
thank you fot the amazing pics.
Specially for the panoramic pic. I am impressed about the
dynamic range of apples i-phone-6-photo-sensor!. Form the highest to the lowest
all details are visible on one photo .Without under- or lower exposure.Great work!

You can see it when you look at the 2 images with the Eiffel Tower .
The first one is made with the G1X Canon but on the second with Sophie and me + Tower in background is made with the Iphone 6 plus. Of course it's less good but ...
Some pictures from today ...

Pierre,
thank you for your explanation.
I think the disadvantages of the i-phones is to find the center of the sharpness.
Mostly when a person stands near in front of the camera, the person looks a little bit unsharp, while the background is sharp enough.
Can you change fom daylight to tungsten light on the i-phone or on the small canon? Sometime it gives better results.
Look, i converted your foto "Dinner at the Bartolotta" with a Blue 80c-Filter.
No more orange faces in tungstenlight.
I am shure, with the next generation of the I-Phone the above "problems" will be solved!
Have a nice day!
Walter
