you should give him a job, think you could use a good technician here for setting up your stuff in a most usual way for not having these compatibility troubles...

just had another one with problems, the cherry jul video has not only the mov format, it has that pcm sound too - it's a pain in the ass

thanks for the advice again, yamb does not work for the sound problem, does not recognize the pcm track and so it can not re-create it...

but I'll try the other one, maybe this helps...

You´ll need both applications to get it done without reencoding the video
(or an diffrent way to convert the audio first)
the original mov-file + a new mp4/aac file with the converted audio can be joined
in yamb to a new mp4

solved all the problems now with this good and simple free converter
