In circumstances when all the social movements and political initiatives are under surveillance of the Federal Security Service - the KGB's successor, and dissent and public protests are ruthlessly suppressing by, the Russians have no other choice to go to the Internet, an island of freedom in the ocean of authoritarian state.

Ironically, the Russian authorities are not equipped or probably irresponsible do their job, and, in contrast to their Chinese collegues, do not show visible results in the control of a global information network. As a result, many political dissidents, and just the people of the free will in Russia literally "live" on the world-wide-web, exposing the abuse of the authorities by the publication of information in the blogs and in the increasingly popular anonymous social networks. In fact, the whole palette of public opinion and all elements of the democratic initiatives in Russia, there are only in the Internet. Unlike American Anonymous, Russian Anonymous users are not so united, and its actions doesn't have clearly defined motivation. This situation is a consequence of the alienation of the Russians from the state, as well as ideological and cultural vacuum left by the ruins of the Soviet Union. However, the Russian division of the Legion sometimes shows that there is a things in the world when the State can not hush up.

Pornographic media has long been formed and it's a multi billions profitable segment of the business now. The fall of the Iron Curtain, gave a new round of the international pornography business, which figures create in the Eastern Europe and former USSR entire networks of porn actress recruiting, transporting them to the West Europe for the filming and exploitation - let's be honest - as prostitutes. One of these traditional values, is a rejection of the open imaging in the media everything related with sexuality. An example of this is surprising unity the authorities and society in the case of banning gay pride parades, and numerous regulatory prohibitions and restrictions to the distribution of erotic and pornographic content. In accordance with Russian criminal law, public imaging of genitals during sexual intercourse quite clearly regarded as attributes of pornography which production and distribution in Russia is prohibited, and pornographists in order to avoid the criminal prosecution of authoritarian government, used a lot of tricks - from bribing the officials charged in the censorship of the video content and media certification till hiding their shady business as language schools or modeling agencies. Of course this situation creates more and more corruption abuse and public outrage accustomed to follow the traditional way on issues of sexuality and demonstration of intimate human life. The most ugly contradiction in this aspect of Russian life is that many Russian (and, as believe, foreign) porn manufacturers covered by some people from structures of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose employees receive bribes for "finding the solution" for activity of suspicious "Language Schools", "studios"
and "Model Agencies".

However, sometimes the public anger and solidarity prevail over pre-paid indifference.
