Certainly many agencies, websites and DVD producers change a performer's name with or without their knowledge. And so the list of stage names often proliferates to a dozen or more nom de porn. That seems to be the nature of the business. My comment wasn't intended to imply that Adriana had herself decided to change her stage name, but simply that she could be found on the internet under those names as indicated by her listing on EBI.

I completely agree that newbie porn stars should decide on a name (preferably unique and dissimilar from their many colleagues) and stick with it. This makes it easier for her fans/admirers to follow her career and show their support by purchasing her content. This certainly increases demand for her and ultimately determines her success in the biz. I know their are some exceptions to this, but in general it seems to hold true (IMHO).

Unfortunately, the single name "Adriana" is insufficiently unique to make it easy to follow her work (IMO). But of course, that decision is entirely hers (or the content producer's) to make.

I push them to have two names and specifics ones but some girls refuse and wish only one ! Why ? because they know more it is a commun and simple one more they have chance to disapeared easily...and also to be a bit more discret the time they do this job.
Also many productions like change the girls name because they wish it stick to what they do and will be not related to the competitors...
Myself I always start by the name they wrote on the model-release they signed but if I see they are already famous with another one ( could be years and years between my casting and the coming up on the site ! ) of course I take this one because it's better for my affiliates. The problem, often I don't know which name they have today !!!
