The Bayer filter cluster have two green pixel, one red, and one blu pixel. This cluster information is used for one pixel at screen of monitor. Therefore The single matrix camcorder must have 4x8 = 32 (not 3x8) in order to have same resolution as 3 sensor array camcorder. Also Very important phisical size of sensor array (noise, diffraction limit). Therefore single sensor array of 1CMOS camcorder must have area same as 3 (actually 4) sensor array of 3CMOS camcorder for same quality (noise, diffraction limit). Bayer filter also have dispersion at edges of filters. Therefore In any way 3 sensor array camcorder is better. But 3 4k sensor array camcorder is expensive now.
