I follow the tv serie, WestWorld, but I didn't know it was inspired (even copied) from an old 1973 movie. It is strange because it is so modern I couldn't imagine guys from the 70 's could have this idea.
The movie had a surprise ending that made it even more scary. The staff of workers who built and maintained WestWorld, and the man in charge of it, were all androids too. No human was in charge.
Trivia: In an interview, Ron Jeremy was asked: "When having sex with a porn star, do you ever fantasize about someone else?". He said "Sure. One time I had to have sex with a blowup doll."
Yeah, the movie is million times better. YUL BRYNNER to start (one of the best actors ever), not that Brazilian dumb fag HBO uses to play his character. HBO is pretty much only gay propaganda now so I don't watch it anymore.
About the dolls. They are developing pretty advanced AI for those dolls, especially in Japan. So, they will probably be smarter than 99% of mankind (men and women) in 10 years or so. Japanese are working on AI that is already developing human-like reactions and emotions through interacting with other AI, humans, and also taking information from a database of human interactions from all around the world.
And the best thing is that those dolls won't ever try to walk away with half of everything you own, or get you to pay their bills for 18 years to life through child support, lol.
The way feminism is destroying women soon will be better to spend 10k on one of those dolls and have a forever pretty/hot very smart (AI) and cooperative/willingly female companion than bother yourself dealing with dirty feminists.
To add a little to the previous post. A few years ago I saw the results of research at an American university. They had a bank of computers covering a wall. With a dozen cables running to the robot, which was suspended by wires to the ceiling. The robot took one step that took 60 seconds to work.
A few months ago I saw a Japanese robot. It was totally self contained with computers and batteries inside, and totally in balance. It quickly walked downhill as fast as any human. The terrain was bumpy with rocks and boulders. The robot saw and avoided the boulders and easily walked over the rocks. It was as good as any man. Let us speculate. How long before that robot learns to aim and shoot an AK-47. Scary to think about it.
There are Japanese hotels that have a female robot as the front desk clerk. She can answer any question and has a pretty face. Her facial expressions are life like. When you get room service and place your food tray back in the hallway, a robot will pick up the tray and take it back to the kitchen.
By the way, Michael Crichton gave us Jurassic Park as well. Sadly, he died in 2008.
