Well, my 2 cents is that the meaning of the word "addiction" has been extended too much, and I don't think such thing as "sex addiction" even exists; rather, it's a simple combination of a high sex drive and good logistics to meet and fuck lots of women (really, most men, though not all of course, would fuck with as many girls as they could if they had the means, the time and the circumstances to make it possible).

"Addiction" used to mean, as with narcotics, that a sudden halt in consumption should bring withdrawal symptoms, very unpleasant and unbearable ones.
