I am a photographer and I sue every mother fuckers who still my work. I put 8 of them in court these last few months.These shitty magazines and websites paid me a new car this year. At least the law punish.

This is exactly the thing to do... perhaps companies will do better to put someone on staff simply to scour the internet for pirate sites. Sue a few of them for mega bucks... perhaps it will help curb the trend. Sometimes you have to invest in the attack rather than the defense. I'm glad for you.

You can sue what is official and what has been protected by the US copyright office only if you want fight with someone heberged on US territory. At least it's cost you a lot but you can do it but with structure changing of place every month with thousand of servers etc... what do you do ?
It's a eternal fight and they will just win and ... cry after when no more product !

I check on line the celebrities I have photographed and there always some shit websites who steal the images especially if it is sexy shots. Sometimes tabloids reproduce my photos without permission. It happened recently, with a french trash magazine who stole one of my images and put it on their cover.

It's true. It is very difficult or impossible in this case. Lawyers cost a lot also and you loose a lot of time and energy.

I see. I wonder if there is some way to place accountability on the service provider for allowing the content? I don't know. It's a very hard puzzle.
