Pierre chatting off topic of sex for a little -having nice coffee- last summer on a road trip with my wife through beautiful french britain coast we heard on a french station this music, amazing and beautiful it was from Daniel Balavoine, never heard this singer in my life.I started getting interested and discover he was an active politic critic, special towards ex president Mitterrand...have you ever heard of him?

Sure, bought some of his records when I was a teenager but never met him in true.

A "copine" of me (when I was innocent 16) gave me a tape with his songs - he and Jean Jacques Goldman (Pas toi...) touched my heart and opened my love for the french language and France which continues until today ( a few weeks ago I`ve been at the Auvergne...)
He died cause of a helicopter accident during the Rallye Paris Dakar. His songs are wonderful and 30 years later worth to listen.
