Another site with huge potential that delivers boring stuff. Just my opinion. I was subscribed for a few months some years ago.

I was speaking yesterday with my friend Greg Lansky and told him now he is the last one making "art" in porn business.
I am sad when a good competitor is in trouble, because actually all is fucked up.
I heard this week, another big company in Budapest is on the way to die soon ( but it's not confirmed at 100% so I don't give name yet ) and it's also something I have predicted last year.
I wish porn tubes to be in trouble not the honest production companies !!!

Yes but they are like me, X-Art auto-finance their own product and in this days if the support fall down, you must close your business.
I'm glad I have been able to keep enough support to not get to that point but maybe 2017 will be different ( I hope not ).
The dark side is on the way to win this war, I'll be one of the last on earth to resist that's 100% sure, but for how long I don't know !!!

They might just be rationalizing. Key is the 20 ish million mansion that they are selling. They had a business model that probably didn't work out. Buy a nice house in a nice location, and shoot high quality content there as much as they can there and live in it at the same time.

There are a couple of issues with that though. The backgrounds end up always being the same and the site gets stale. And the capital and debt tied up in a 20 plus million mansion is a big financial drag. If they pay down debt, or release capital by rethinking where they live and where they shoot, they can inject a bit of freshness into their material and maybe finance a new direction for them. It might not be all doom and gloom yet.

How Wowgirls sites do it is interesting. A few times a year rent a large villa in Ibiza or somewhere else nice and sunny and famous. Lay on the food and alcohol. Agents recruit as many new eastern european and russian girls with offers of a free trip to Ibiza and cash for nude photoshoots. Also have a number of more established porn actors and actressess to do a number of hardcore scenes in amongst the nude photoshoots. This helps "normalise" what is going on, and then they convert a number of the new girls into doing lesbian and hardcore scenes with offers of more money etc. Production wise it's full on filming all day for 2 weeks or more, and so they get a fair chunk of their content this way. Then the rest is made up by third party shot material and handful of shoots of a small number of girls they have a good longer term relationship with.

Maybe the sharks (LP) will buy them out like they did with DDF and others?

Hum, if someone does it it will be Mindgeek not LP, because first of all they are in USA and also because the sweet style of X-art can't be in accord with the spirit of LP which is the opposite style.
