I remember the age for porn in Holland and Denmark was 16 years until recently (i think 2000) it was not a big deal then and they made high quality porn for decades selling in all europe. They were eventually pushed to 18 years because this age became somehow industrial Standard in most other countries. So, I don't understand the "Beisreflex" in this forum over this matter. Obviously, even in porn forums, most users like to follow what is mainstream and politically correct like Eintracht who displays outrage about someting that was perfectly legal in the above mentioned european countries for decades.

There is a company in the Netherlands that produces videos under the title "Seventeen". They had young teenagers singing and dancing to music. There was also nudity (but no sex) of girls 16 - 18. Also on the tape were scenes of women over 18 having sex. You could buy the tapes in Adult stores in the US. That all changed when a federal judge ruled that mixing adult sex with nude 17 year old's not having sex on the same videotape, was illegal. On one day, the FBI raided every store in the entire US and confiscated all the tapes. No arrests were made. They carted the tapes out in a wheelbarrow. A friend in the police force told me about it. It was quietly done and it never made the news. It went so far as to make it illegal to order a "Seventeen" logo on a T shirt. The company is still in business, but no more nude teenagers.

There are different cultures in different areas of the USA, just like in Europe. There are different cultures among the many races. I have dozens of different personal experiences. Here is one.

A 20 year old man that I worked with, went to a party. He found a 16 year old girl and went to her house and fucked her on her parents bed. Then he took a bath. Her parents came home and caught him in the bath. She said she did not know who he was so they called the police. He was let out on bail, and later the police understood what happened and dropped the charges.

In Quebec, Canada you are an adult at 18. You can do porn, drink alcool, smoke, take your own appartement, vote... everything. I always found this funny that in the states you can shoot porn at 18, you can go at war too, but you can't drink alcool

I guess 18 is just standard because most countries you become an adult and get your rights at this age.

I find it disgusting in the arabian world that you can indeed marry little girl, and yes its outrageous that those country are considered "allied" and the presidents meet each other like its all normal. I mean Saudi Arabia is a barbaric country where they cut limbs for petty crimes like robbing and women are killed often for adultery. Yet the King of there is considered allied to the President of the USA. I guess the USA really need that petrol... I have a feeling , especially with the middle east, that there is a "mind your own business" pass. They can do pretty much all they want, as long as its there country. They have closed mind and are still stuck in the 1800s in term of how they live, and for that to change there would need to have a huge war and obviously its something the USA don't want. As for the age of consent, i think its 16 in Canada for having sex with an adult in your private life. Overall its a good law i think but what sucks the most is when there is exeptions that can't be made. There was that 18 years old boy who was in love with a 15 years old since i think 2-3 years, it made the news, both parents knew and where totally fine with it, but because it was exposed (can't remember how) the court blocked the guy from seeing the girl and registered him as a sex offender, wich in that case is unjustify to me as the guy was truly in love with her and parents where ok with it.

As for porn and the sex world, i think 18 is fine. Should remain this way. But i see all of you bash the guy because he would like the law to be change. Well if i can tell you one thing, i know lots of guys who look for the "youngest looking but yet still legal". Hell the porn industry is based on this, the most popular pornstars are the "barely legal" ones that look 2 years younger than they are. Huge market for that. Everytime you hear an interview and the girl says 18, the dude interviewer always seem to wet his pants...

My friend was 18 and his GF was 15. Her parents caught them having sex and he was arrested for statutory rape. He was convicted and sent to a maximum security prison for sex offenders (Albert DeSalvo the Boston Strangler was another inmate there) for 2 years and a week after getting there he was brutally raped by another inmate.

After spending 2 weeks lying on his stomach in the infirmary he walked up to the man that had raped him and beat him in the head with a pipe and 12 years was added to his sentence. He did the 14 years and got out and was never in trouble with the law ever again. All thus because he happened to fall in love with a 15 year old.
