You have to paid for tickets, table, food, drinks etc ... it's same like the AVN !!!

The main reason why I never came back to AVN was my clash in 2008 with Paul Fishbein
Let me explain you why:
Woodman Entertainment spent 60 000 $ in 2006 and again 60 000 $ in 2007 for advertisment in AVN magazine.
In January 2008 my investors came to Vegas and the price of the tickets + table was 24 000 $. Paul promised me, what ever happen, I will have a price and will go on stage to thanks my investors and also AVN of course.
But 3 weeks before in Paris I refused sign a agreement for mobile phone content with the company HOT VIDEO ( VCV ) and prefered do it with LAGARDERE Group.
Franck Vardon the Hot Video boss was mad on me for that and as he was a top friend of Fishbein ( and also bought the right of 11 american movies the month before ) asked him to not give me anything.
So I was very confident that evening in Vegas, very sure to go on stage but it has been a huge shame front of my investors and friends to not get anything.
At the end of the ceremony I was very sad and Franck Vardon came to me, put his hand on my shoulder and said : " you look so sad what's happen, ah yes no price tonight, it must be rude after making a movie like Xcalibur to get nothing. Myself I'm so lucky, the 11 movies I bought have got a price. Maybe you should have sign with me ... bye Pierre " and he went away.
From this second I have understood what a basquet of crabs was those people. From this second I never spoked again with Fishbein and few days later in Paris went to Franck Vardon office and told him he will never see me again ( Karma got him, he died in 2014 without we meet again) and I also never saw again Fishbein.
I never went back to this ceremony of shit and, me, who was nominated every year since 1993, since the clash, I have disappeared from their world too !!!
In a minute Pierre Woodman was not anymore a porn personality ...


Xbiz was very kind with me when I opened my website, they asked me to paid 12 000 $ for an advertisement to the affiliation program with US webmasters in their magazine.
After 6 months I haven't got anything back. So I stopped my collaboration, but without any angriness, just like a normal end of deal.
From that day, they have totaly ignored me and I never got a nomination in the US ceremony they have !!!
For them too, from a day to another I became Mr NOBODY even if I am probably the most prolific porn director on earth !!!

So as you see, now they come to Europe. You can be sure all has been arranged that every people they decided to reward will have a price and mainly Rocco obviously !!!
When you see their males performers list, of course I am not inside, it's fine I am not a porn actor even if I fuck in 200 scenes every year, but what make me laugh is some guys I see the name are totally unknow to me !!!
And Ian Scott, David Perry, Thomas Stone, and of course Manuel Ferrara ( he shoot for me and some other EU companies ) are not there ...
Also nominate LP owned by XV boss, it's like if Wall street was on the way to propose an award to Madoff !

So in a certain way I will have prefer they completly forget me like they did since 10 years, I don't want be in the list at all !!!

About all your explications, well from your point of view it's clearly not "magic and friendly" , i understand you more now !!!

I just finished a long Skype conversation with this lady from Xbiz LEAH .... who is a very nice person and she explained me they admit they do some mistakes because it's their first time in Europe but next year they will be more precise about nominations.

Anyway I will not go to the show but the owner of Xbiz want meet me in Berlin for speak. This, I will do for sure, not because I want be nominate in 2019
but because I hope I can maybe help them to understand how our industry is suffering and having the king of the piracy getting nominated or unknow people nominated is a non sens.
Looks like they would like change the way the prices are given, so yes if I can help it will be something I will do with pleasure.

Nobody, specialy a french, as any interest to fight in the corridor of the Mandalay Bay hotel with few thousand people as witness !!!
Also even if I knew it and later got the formal proof of it, there was always possibility for him to said the opposite and I'm not a mafia capo, I don't have in mind to send a group of people to break your legs when you do bad to me. It's enough I wish very deep in my heart that the karma does is job, and trust me, even if it's long sometime, it always work.

Even if it seems this tread is not so attractive for you guys, I have some news.

I just finished a great meeting in Berlin with the owner of Xbiz. Honestly I have to said it's a very cool guy very humble and I liked the atmosphere during our discussion.
He explained me how they do their nominations and why sometime it looks different as everyone would like it will be.
I will not said I am convinced their system is the best way to do but for instance we spoked about the best performers and I told him they should ask FIRST to directors who they will vote for as best performers and I was nicely surprised he agreed about this.
So yes definitely a good man, trying to improve the way his team prepare their ceremony and doing his best on it.

I was happy of this meeting ...

Yes ok great, but keep your guard up, you're a nice guy and they probably know how to make you feel yourself confortable and "promise" you things to make yourself happy, keep in mind that a "knife" behind your back can come very fast, it's a shark place.

Now they wake up ? Now they hear about what you say since long time ??? sorry i don't swallow that pill so easely, it look perfect and very friendly on the paper yes, maybe this guy have realy good intention and is cool, but stay careful, you now the game since long time when everything look perfect ! i hope it will stay cool as they told you !

I was in the shaddow for them since always and they never did anything against me out of ignore me which has never been something doing any pain to me out of my ego ...
So situation is fine and I prefer set up good relation and friendship than the opposite.
I came just for this meeting, so it was important for me to have a conversation with this person.
I do not ask anything for myself, I just ask him if he can use his power as a media to push about the importance to shut down piracy who expose childrens to pornography.
That's all, I was not expecting to bring back a full bag of awards but just to know a man who is powerfull in our industry.
I have appreciate the 5 hours he stayed with me for speak, he is a busy man, came to organise his first Xbiz and anyway gave me all this time, it's very correct.
It's important to tell the things as they are, when I am angry but also when I am happy.

Hi Pierre,

just decided to post a couple some comments. I like your work and find the forum quite interesting.
About the piracy issue I see no good solutions, plenty of cash has been spent with little to show for. In my view camming could work, you cannot "pirate" a live experience and live interaction, so people would have to sign up to your website and pay to watch live content. As you made movies in the past, you could offer different storylines and some "viewer" participation.......
Maybe the idea is not practicable, just want to mention it.
