I think around 2 months ago I've seen a video with her for Russian TV. She said that she asked some European country for an asylum because she was receiving death threats from the people of her father's ethnicity.

Yes it's her ex husband who is muslim and propose money to anyone who could kill her.
It's just insane in 2018 to see something like that !!!
